I'm a June 2001 fDAL hire. I've lost approx 50% in the list in LA on the 73 B since the merger. Was around the 40% and am now holding about 90%. What's happening most lately is a lot of senior guys, most of them fNWA, are bidding in. In fact, on this last AE three fNWA guys came in on top of the list and are now #1, #3, and #5. So the flow is definitely not all going north, at least not on the west coast. In fact, its going south slowly but surely. I don't know if these guys live out here or commute, time will tell. Because commuting to the 73 in LA can be a ***** covering LAX, ONT and SNA. A lot of our trips are not commuter friendly so we'll see how it plays out. Those of us that actually live here have it much easier.

Could we ever see an MD90 base in LAX? That'd give the base some head count relief.

Oh wait... thats right, we have Alaska to do that flying...

It's kind of like that F-18 Growler that shot down an F-22, but different...

Sad but true. The AS code share has severely wounded the LAX 73 category. I mean, its all anecdotal, but what we used to fly out here compared to what we fly now is like comparing Anna Kornikova to Rosie O'Donnell.

And, yes, I have a thing for Anna. She falls into the understanding from my wife that if I ever could, it would be ok.

Yea opinion is so much cooler than facts. ;)

I'm still trying to figure out how ATL 767 went so junior considering I thought it was going away, maybe not as soon as once planned but still. But its great, just surprised.

As to Anna Kour... you know who. All I can say is when I was at Auburn a buddy of mine dated a cheerleader, she was cute, hot and mesmorizing and I'll admit to looking like a fool when she walked up and introduced herself. But I'm fine with that, because I met her.

BUT, another buddy dated a tennis player... W-O-W. Its like cheerleaders in a tall version.:cool: I got caught staring. Again, fine with that too.

Oh if only I had been a Ferd, I could've walked right up to one of them while standing next to their man - and they were cool dudes - and said "Well, here I am. Now what are your other two wishes?"

Only a Ferd could do that.

and never forget the best tried and true line of them all

"Hi, FTB, Airline Pilot...........how ya like me so far?"

Didn't think I had to spell it out for you but...

Couldn't be that some guys are migrating north to be more senior could it? Nah. That would make me a speculator trying to come off as factual...kinda like you!

Trust you? OK. With evidence like that, how could I have ever questioned you.
