I agree on the SC issue. With the 767 domestic falling in to the ER category and the 777 and 765 having one or two domestic legs a day, they are using the 24 leash a lot. I have proposed to the SOT a domestic (12 hr ) and a International (16-18 hr) lease. There is no need for SC to be 24 hrs.
I once was about to finish SC (literally 10 mins away from 24 hrs) and I got called for a trip that reported four hrs later and was a six day. Totally legal. I reminded them I was about ready to get of SC and that they had guys today. Their response was well, ACL, it is legal and you know that. They are right, it is and I did. |

Nope the report does not have to be in the window. On International they can call you in the last second for a 13 day trip that leaves that night. No intervening rest is required and you are totally legal for the trip.

sounds like a seniority problem, not a scheduling problem.
remember to vote for ALPA PRES At least some in the running may somehow remember your issue way back in their memory bank.......maybe before they grew those thick flavor-savors |

NWA320;
I will further clarify. The notification needs to come in the SC window but the report does not. Further as soon as you are done with a trip or a SC period, you are immediately back on LC unless otherwise notified or have another SC scheduled which requires the contractual min rest as outline in the PWA. |

I actually got my bid done today. I asked for the whole month off, so one way or another I will get days off I requested! :D |

That's what happens before 8am on the 12th every month. Hope. And then this, the PBS computer mucking our collective dreams like we're chickens at a chicken farm: http://locksparkfarm.files.wordpress...pg?w=495&h=371 |
