Time Card question because it is confusing.

Reroute Pay is

a) The number of hours eligible to be multiplied by the applicable bonus?

OR

b) The actual number of pay/no credit hours being added onto your monthly paycheck

OR

c) The result of an ancient Amish pay scroll in the Delta PWA decipherable only by ALPArchaeologists.

Please elaborate if c) is correct.

Nosmo,

I do believe that your answer is b.

You, sir, are a great American!

I thought that too, but I couldn't get the math to work out correctly.

Ouch. Kinda puts in perspective how far we've slipped. A 3rd year 757/767 F/O made more (ten years ago, using 1999 dollars) than our current rates as a 12+ year MD88 captain. :(

Just announced this morning that SWA is buying Airtran. Interesting, lets see if the DOT makes them divest anything to get this merger done.

Quick thoughts on this:

1 Unless SWA changes its business model there are 80+ 717s that will be coming on the market

2. SWA has nowrecieved access to NYC via UAL/CAL and this acquisition. This should allow our deal with USAir to go through

3. ATL is going to be come a tougher O/D market

4 Alaska? The consolidation party is picking up steam...

Might be the answer we need in LGA to get this slot swap approved with no slots being divested. AAI has a lot of slots up there as well.

So, who is next to consolidate?

acl65pilot 09-27-2010 04:03 AM

AMR needs to do something and quick. So does LLC.

If I were AS, B6, NKS or HI I would be expecting it.

If I were Virgin America, I would pray someone would buy us.

Looks like the Air Tran pilots joined ALPA just in time! (I kid. I kid.) :D

That SLI will be fun to watch.
