Buzz, if there is a two day and there are no two day guys they can go to the three day guys and if there are none they go to the four day then four plus day groups.

They will almost never use a guy with more days than a guy with less days avail that is legal for a trip. Only exception is SC pilot.

What happens to trips that are awarded to someones line on dates that fall after scheduled training for new equipment? Just seems like some guys got hosed out of lines because PBS saw credit due to training and then tossed a trip in after it. I guess the trips just drop into open time?

You will get paid and credited for those trips. If they show a (S) they were awarded as a shadow award.

Or by "in the course of that representation," do you only mean contract negotiations?

The latter. The mission statement should state that ALPA national will refuse to support any such contract items that take work from one unionized group and transferring that work to another group. That is the foundation of trade unionism.

It is therefore completely our right to take the flying we outsourced and have it flown by us. Many of these "regional" carriers do not own any flying, and none have exclusivity like we do with the airline that creates, sells and markets our code. Big difference there.

Instead of just knee-jerk responses, re-read what I propose as part of national's mission statement. Then make the response have something to do with my statement.

Then get your campaign staff ready. Because this will not happen buddy. Moak saw this incredible honey pot, and now he has the keys to the cash register. A cash register full of our dues money.

I find ACL pretty slippery like that. When you show him something clearly wrong, he will frequently change the focus of the debate or tell you that you misunderstood his original statement. He is frequently "misunderstood".

I know the guy.. and I had an O'hare ground controller independently verify the story as being true :)

Carl, I was restating what my intent was.
