Oh, I bet I know the story line, didn't Goose have kids? Yeah, they're back Mr. Flat Spin. They didn't buy your story that you were spinning out to sea, nobody spins "out" to sea.

Maybe its just a murder mystery?

Solved by that guy from Jag.

And I'll pay my $12 to see it if it included that long legged assistant of his. :D

Partially because the retiree medical benefits suck compared to the fNW contract. Fix it and see how many retire earlier than under the present circumstances...

Cost of medical care is a huge factor in that decision.

As it stands, the DAL plan costs a huge amount of coin....enough to flip it into the negative side.

Nu

FWIW during pre-merger roadshows we were told that the difference in premiums between the fNW and the DL retiree medical are caused by the retirees NOT being grouped with active employees under the DL plan. I really don't see why any pilot wanted to exclude retirees and make it LESS attractive to retire at age 60.

Speculation (not mine) was that this was a bit of revenge against the lump sum retirees that drained the pension fund. I don't know anything about the pre-BK/pre-merger DL plan, but if the fNW BCBS plan included retirees with active before the merger then we should at least explore bringing them back into the new DL plan. I'm sure BCBS would love to administer the DL plan, assuming that RA has no "conflicts" from his previous job at UHC.

Wow. 85,000 applications for 575 Flight Attendant positions at DAL. Wow.
