Is there some reason that we can't used the LANDside for commuting in ATL? I see why they don't want us using AIRside if we're not working, but what's the big deal with Landside since we would still be clearing security?

Now that would be a bowl game....
What would be fun is if someone could schedule at will, Tennessee vs USC. That'd be fun. T, Auburn didn't have near the depth or the players of Alabama last year and it wasn't until 1:24 left in the game that Alabama scored and won by 5 after a 6 min drive. They can be beat... but not by Florida. That team has been teetering on disaster this year.

T- relax, we've got nearly all custom plates for Tegucigalpa and a pile of custom charts elsewhere.
Also, look at your 29-0-1 and 2 charts for JFK. Custom Delta plates for RNAV visuals to 13L and R. A lot of that RNAV RNP stuff can be done mostly (if not all) in the sims if it doesn't involve crazy terrain... TGU was done before we inaugurated service of course. |

So under what conditions were these approaches tested and apparently approved by the FAA? And... if they are FAA approved approaches, why haven't they been made public?
We were trained on the RNP stuff in the sim and the approaches could only be flown in VMC conditions when I was there. After so many months of looking at the data of the VMC approaches, the FAA was suppose to approve them to be flown in IMC. It took them a couple of years to get RNP 0.3 certified, but they now fly them in IMC. FWIW, the guys going through 320 training are now being qualified on RNP 0.3 approaches. We were trained on them and told we could do them in VMC conditions if we have the approach plates (which we don't). The guys in MSP said we should have approval within a year and everyone will be trained during recurrent training. |

There was a sign at the shed, it basically said if you're not working then no SIDA entry and if you are non-reving or commuting then no Camp Creek Lot use. But I can't quote it word for word, I'll have to take another look.

Question--I was awarded a SLC conversion on the 19 May bid (currently NYC, same plane). Proj conv/training list said Nov conversion. Still does. They did not appear to convert me, still on the Nov NYC category list, what gives? Tried to call crew resources--put on hold. Is this happening to anyone else?

Exactly. It was a struggle to watch the entire thing.
It does show they're anything but transparent. Who's running, exactly? Some people think it was justifiable to roll out a website without any clear identity on the backers (I don't buy it). This continues the effort, all focused on tapping into our legitimate anger, for the purpose of satisfying someone's appetite for power. Again. Strike 2. Move this to the other thread: this thread is not just about the latest, but the greatest. DPA doesn't qualify. |
Considering the current trip I'm on I sure hope we can make some headway on this....

My guess is you'd vote the same way if they blew stars from their keesters and showed you a yellow brick road to a better contract.
Capn; I'm not defending anyones right to be level headed mind you, butas much as ALPA is a dinosaur, DPA is an unknown. There is another thread for this. Scambo |
