Default Back-end DH deviation CDG

I have a deadhead segment at the back-end of my rotation upon arrival in CDG. Would like to return same day back to base without going to hotel.

Anyone know if CDG has specific procedures upon arrival to get back on the plane to DH home same day as arrival? Flight is about 4 hrs after arrival.

Can one enter your name on the gen dec? Thanks

I would be sure to list positive space for the flight using the new "deviate from deadhead" thing available on TravelNet and then talk to the gate agents when you arrive to make sure they put you in Business Class. They should be able to put you on the Gen Dec too.
I might stay off the gen dec "crew" list if you want to take off your uniform and have an adult beverage on the way home though. Avoid any misunderstanding with all the scrutiny of alcohol issues lately.

1. Where do I input my Golden Days?

2 Can I do a GS on a non Golden Day and do I still get payback days?

3. I live in base so I do not care about SC or not but do we bid for SC during the days we are on and if so how?

4. Anything else you can tell me to make this "opportunity" better?

Thanks
The best part is, you don't have to worry about your seniority for the whole month because you won't be needing it.

You can pay it back in full with no penalties (no partial paybacks). The one thing you need to be aware of is if you take it out for something like a house you will want to season it (borrow early) so you don't have to account for where the cash came from in your account. You can also withdraw up to $10,000 cash from your IRA for a down payment without penalties. Also, remember you can always withdraw contributions from your Roth IRA with no taxes or penalties (you already used after tax money). Sorry about the long post - used to do mortgage loans on the side (stopped after the crash - not worth the time any more).
fNW the limit was 50K to borrow from your 401k. You could borrow for 5 year term unless it was for purchasing a home, then you could have a 10 year term.

I was told DAL would only let you borrow 40K, but I don't have a reference. Guess I'll have to look it up...

To which you might ask, why $401,000? I honestly don't know, why don't you ask the L&G Party Planning Committee, maybe they know? Who is on that committee anyways?

We've got 15 hours to plan this thing out before Carl lands.
In that case, make it a 415k!
