Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
401K? Its a retirement thing unless you're talking about Carl's Christmas party, then you mean 401K with a $. As in the bill, $401K.
Now lets use that in a sentence: "I heard Carl might claim a hardship to get the money out of his 401K to pay for his Latest and Greatest 2010 Christmas party which cost 401K, as in $401,000."
To which you might ask, why $401,000? I honestly don't know, why don't you ask the L&G Party Planning Committee, maybe they know? Who is on that committee anyways?
We've got 15 hours to plan this thing out before Carl lands.

That is how Delta did it on the last profit sharing checks. They are not however required to do that under federal law. It is assumed however they will do the same this time.

JFK Emergency Landing: Delta Flight 30 Suffers Engine Failure
NEW YORK — A Moscow-bound flight carrying about 200 people returned safely to John F. Kennedy International Airport after an engine failed Sunday night, authorities said. No one was injured.
Delta Flight 30 reported one engine had failed shortly after takeoff, said Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Laura Brown. The plane departed at about 4:40 p.m. with 193 passengers and 11 crew members, Delta Air Lines said.
The plane dumped fuel before landing at about 5:50 p.m., Brown said.
Passengers were put on another jet, which was scheduled to depart for Moscow at about 8 p.m., Delta said.
More than 100 firefighters and other emergency crews went to the airport to await the plane's arrival, the Fire Department of New York said.
Earlier reports of a fire on one of the plane's wings were incorrect, said FAA spokeswoman Holly Baker said.

I had a fun morning today. I thought I was on a * day and so I had gone out of town last night. Scheduling called all my numbers trying to reach me at 5am this morning. They were wondering why I had not acknowledged my short call assignment. Oops. Good times. Thank God I didn't go partying last night. I'm sure they would not have been happy to hear me say that I couldn't accept the assignment. Lesson learned.

So if you are on Mil Leave you get profit sharing based on "deemed" income for the year, would that be at the rate you were at prior to departing and min guarentee. If on sick leave you would get profit sharing based on 240hrs a year which is you max allowable sick leave in a year?
So they woke me up to tell me that I was on short call. Which immediately got my attention. I jumped out of bed, made sure my uniform was good to go, my bags packed, etc.
