Club USA! Forgotten about that one. And ordering beers with omelets for breakfast at the bowling alley.

As to the IOE, if you're in ATL for training, drop by the IOE planner's desk on the 4th floor if you want to get the scoop on your schedule. They may already have it. If you're in MSP for training just call the IOE planner. Hope this helps

ok cool Thanks :)

But, if you are senior, the trip is a double all nighter, and it beats the hell out of you, so you might want to consider something else....

Which is why I got to do it, so much. :D Don't forget the 2-3 hour bus ride!

BTW, Guarana is awesome. I grew up for a few years in Curitiba and then Brasilia, mostly in the later. My Portuguese went about the time we landed in MIA. Of course, I had an ER guy who was going there for his first time who while sitting on the 88 JS kept correcting me on how to pronounce Sao Paulo... didn't go over well. Guess mr ER FO didn't think an 88 guy had ever left the country.

If you do need a new wife, go down to the crew room with the computers. You'll meet some nice FA's from other airlines. I walked in to the room sat down and the girl beside me asked me if I was American, I said yes, she then asked if I was married... imagine how desperate she was. French btw.

Ah, that doesn't have to be landing related, could be something more entertaining to hear about. :D I mean, you're in your birthday suit!

I wasn't going to add the nuclear football but thanks to my already existing infraction for violence and language I decided the butt had to be covered.

From my reporter in the ATL crew room:

No 747's. We want all of the md90's. Even if we get slot swap won't likely fully utilize until 2012 due to hiring constraints (can't get guys trained by this summer). Likely we will get the flat screens for 75 and 88. Just checking on roi. Everybody has airside charts by end of April. 50 pilots will be testing efb starting in January.

Talking about crew pass. Boring. We want it have to decide who runs it and get a standard across all airlines. Different opinion from airline to airline on what contractor to use.

(unedited :D well, i edited out the thoughts of the guy complaining about pilots getting > alv+15)

more from my reporter:

Somebody asked if we wanted to be the worlds biggest airline again. They did have a good response. We just want to be the best... He should run for political office

We want Saudi 90s but the differences are causing problems. The closest they've come to single category is with the 90 day sim. Working on ways to get around that and then they'll be here.

Didn't say it but got impression next gen narrowbody would be next big order and the expect that about 10 years down the road. Everything we are doing seemed like an attempt to bridge that gap

You underestimate the capabilities of modern adhesives (duct tape), lubricants (spit) and metallurgy (bailing wire). There is no reason why we can't continue to operate last century's technology until the next century. Besides, passengers might pay more for vintage airplane rides.

Besides, global warming might be good to balance traffic across the fNWA side of the hub and spoke system.
