Do you know I never really envisioned doing an ocean crossing from New York City's John F. Kennedy airport to London Heathrow would start with me trying not to barf because someone took a dump in the bathroom next to the computer room. I don't think there is a fan in the bathroom, just the giant metal one in the printer room. It had to be awkward when you opened that door and noticed 14 people standing at the printers looking at you. |

First couple of years on the 757 all I did was redeyes back to DTW off the west coast. I'd always die about the time you could see Chicago on the horizon and going past MSP, where you'd be done if you were based there. I agree with ya on building a better trip. Granted it was out of the mid-west, but we did: 1: late afternoon MSP to the west coast 2: west coast to Hawaii 4: red eye back to the west coast 5: early morning departure back to MSP or DTW back to MSP. 25 to 28 hour trip and commutable on both ends.
