Yeah I'm off through the 28th now and the IA I was called for was a 3 day 20 hour GS starting tomorrow and I wasn't about to fly into Christmas eve. The coverage in Memphis is horrendous throughout December and every day is below coverage in for January also.

Got a 4 day starting in about 12 hours... puts me at 72 for the month already.

One more day trip and I'll get new years eve off, haha.

I had to take a trip that flies into the 24th to get the 25th off so hopefully I can sneak out of the jetway without getting a RR on the 24th. I was looking at MEM for Jan and it looks like it will be fun. We already have 1 day that is negative, two that are zero, and a bunch of days that have only 1 reserve for Jan. I still haven't seen any GSWC trips go out, so they are in that bad a shape yet.

That is the beauty of a big operation, they will flex other bases if possible to cover your flying. This holds true for many categories.

They seem to be getting a nice "save" with all of the European cancellations. It is allowing them to use those pilots when they otherwise would have had no one to cover trips.

Also impossible under the contract. Has to be 29 for 5 days. 1 for 3.5 puts any 5 day above 26 hours.
