What I find interesting is that, after a cursory look at all seats and bases, there is not a lot of open time for tomorrow. 23K really took the bite out of a lot of it. What will probably nip us, is the inability of those with trips to commute in for them. I can see that being the biggest issue for the next week to ten days as we move people that have been stuck here or there, or never even left their origination point. I keep expecting a reroute but I have not seen any yet.

The 320B categories have better reserve numbers than we've had in a month. I actually saw some WS trips which I haven't seen since November. Sorta helps that there are no 320 bases in ATL and NYC. I expected to see some GS trips the next couple of days but it looks like they've got it all covered up for the most part with very few GS trips handed out.

Maybe the bid that was suppose to come out this week that had rumors of moving the DC-9 fleet to ATL and moving 320 time from DTW to ATL will be re-evaluated.

I agree....What about TPA MIA or MCO? At least IROPS there only last an hour!

NO!

You are off. To late to have them buy it back.

No, you cannot WS or GS on vacation. The only way you can fly is if you are re-routed into your vacation or you get an IA.

Exactly. The roads have been jacked up for days. I practically needed ice skates to get to the pub on Monday. :D

It's not bad if you can get out of your driveway and off the secondary streets. I've been out and about driving since Monday. I called three people at the G/O today, and they were all there.

Yep, no reason for schools to be closed today. Little bit of overkill.

Just got a text from a friend on the one DTW-BOS flight that just departed. A320 with the FO on OE. Glad I was not the IP.
