Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Here is one source: Pilot salaries went from 10.52% of operating revenue in 2002 to 6.53% in 2009. FAs went from 4.69% to 3.09% and management from .51% to .11%.

Is deltanet down or is it just my computer?
GSs btw are not for proffer. If you forget and answer the phone there are just a few reasons you can legally decline said GS but you can't just say no because you don't wanna.

Holy Sh&t, I'm not on reserve next month! Guess I'll have to start paying attention to the swap board conversations now

Is Delta hiring right now for 2011? Or not yet?
Yes, 738, 739 and A32X are 757 replacements.
But when I say replacement I'm not talking about the airframe but rather that airlines opted for a financially motivated substitute. My argument is instead of buying a kid a new Lexus they get the Camry, not as great but it does the job.
In no way does the 737 compare to the 757 but the tweaked and stretched 1968 737 is still available for purchase with a large and healthy company sustaining backorder while the venerable 1983 757 is no longer in production because the orders dried up.
