Yep. Here are the early returns. Everybody's going east and north. Nobody's going west or south at all. It sucks. No more Boeings. Everybody is going to the Airbi....and no more cool hotels. No more beaches, no more chicks, no more bars. The end is coming. Run while you can! Everybody, head over to Alaska or AirTran, right now! Run, Forrest, run! And, whatever you do, DO NOT come to the 73 in LA. It's horrible. The pax are ****ed, the pilots are stupid, and you never stay in nice hotels. Don't do it! Its a Boeing, for God's sake, why would you want to fly it?(Just saying). ;)

It amazes me how many pilots are calling the change good and bad. I feel that any pilot that would rather be in a shopping plaza than on the beach at work is a *****. I don't know if you fall into that group or not. Only you know that. I am under the impression from reading the ALPA message boards that we changed hotels due to complaints. It is what it is, and I stand by my comments. I love beer and gorgeous women in bikinis. I hate shopping plazas.

Hockey, for the record, no, I never complained about the previous hotel. I really enjoyed it, as a matter of fact. Secondly, I moved on from high-priced tourist bars and drinks with umbrellas in them after a few college spring breaks in FLL several years ago. I get the beach thing, I'm about 15 minutes from SoCal beaches and attractive women. Finally, I think its a matter of perspective. I was simply responding to another brother poster asking about the hotel change and was trying to turn him onto the benefits of our new location.

Why don't you take a breath before you call your fellow pilots pussies and assume that complaints are the reason for the change?

I think they'd look nice next to my wife's spay & neuter stickers.
