Can anyone please explain the difference between "Pay Time" and "Credit" above? Thought I'd be paid for ~87 hours versus ~82 hours.

Thanks.

At first glance, I think the likely difference is the Jan 29 trip spills into next month. 16:14 is what the trip is worth; 11:28 is how much will be paid/credited toward January, with the remainder paid/credited toward February.

That is how I read it.

If you want to know your credit for the month, minus GS's, look at the credit applicable to GS pay.

How long is the trip leaving on the 29th? Does it end on 31 Jan.? If so, that day and any credit for the trip will be on your Feb. timecard. Remember 31 Jan. is the first day of the Feb. bid month.

Pay time is what you get paid for and usually mirriors the credit time. If you get a premium pay trip (GS, GSWC, IA, IAWC) it is pay no credit and will only be listed in the pay column and down the timecard under GSlip pay or one of the listings after that.

Until they CLOSE the trip the credit time may not be correct. I'd wait until it is closed then call and ask if you think you are not being paid correctly. If anything was changed/removed from the rotation the pay vs. credit will not be correct until they close it. They usually close them at the end of each day, but during IROP's I've seen them not close trips until the next day.

I'm pretty sure Denny Crane is right. I'm on reserve too, and have a 4 day trip tomorrow that shows just like that on my time card:

29JAN RES 2xxx 10:12 23:30 23:30 10:04 OPEN

It's 23:30 trip, but only 10:04 is in the Jan bid period, so that's why the credit is lower than the paytime on the Jan time card. If you go look at Feb's time card (31JAN11 date) you'll see the rest of your trip.

For all the Boeing bashing going on, I thought I would post an update. Here's a slew of mothballed, non-airworthy brand new 787's!

There were beautiful women on that beach. There were great bars on that beach. What more do you need? Now our FLL layover is no different than a GRR or FNT layover.

Wow, DAL decides to change hotels and now we're all a bunch of *****{Ladies}. They probably changed because the other hotel finished their renovations and kicked us out, just like about every other time we change hotels, not because guys weren't digging the location.
