I don't see adding RAW to short call as being helpful. Maybe adding Credit to short call. If I get a RAW increase for short call, my chances of flying decrease-a guy with a lower RAW gets a trip and I get--guess what--the short call for the day.

I received a one-time payment for an awarded permanent partial disability, and now DAL says I have to pay that back to them as an additional offset to the LTD plan.

Not whining too much, but it seems to me that payment for an OJI permanent disability should not be subject to recapture by the LTD plan. In my case, it was several thousand dollars.

I can't find anything in the PWA that addresses this, and all the Dalpa types are tied up in the MEC meeting. Any help would be appreciated.

What State are you in?

Write them back, state that you have a question about their request and ask them to provide documentation for the basis of their demand. At least that will show you where to look without spending $250 an hour or more on local Counsel.

Insurers generally have to provide complete copies of your policy on request.

That's right. SC is completely random and not tied to anything. The list for the day should start with the most senior pilot. He takes a trip or a SC or he/she passes. Then it moves to pilot #2. Eventually someone can't pass and they are assigned trip/SC.

It's called seniority. It applies everywhere else, just not here.

Soros also is one of Obama's and the DNC's biggest contributors. Maybe if his money is tied up in us, we can convince him that the LGA/DCA slot swap is beneficial for his stock and he can let Obama/LaHood know to get off their duffs and approve it.

How about 2 hours of additional pay for each shortcall past 5?

Gopher Bounty May End in Saint Francis

A big bounty of gophers is leading to the end of a longtime tradition for an Anoka County town. Last month Jim Jones turned in nearly 700 pair of gopher feet to the city of Saint Francis,

For decades the community tried to control the gopher population by paying a $1.50 bounty for a pair of gopher feet. The city budgets $700 for the bounties, but last year it had to pay out $1,400.

Now the city plans on eliminating the gopher bounty in March.
With taxes that's right around the break even price of .223 55g V-Max. Still better to get paid than spend your own hard earned cash.
