Easy and cheap are kinda self eliminating. Kew Cab will do it and run you 16.50 or there is the multi-train/bus method Airtrain to Jamaica, E train to a bus. You could also beg the schedulers to set up transpo to LGA (if you started there, they have to do it anyway).

The CP has a section on their web-page with tranpo that may have info about a shuttle, but I haven't ever used it.

I used Rockaway Town car before I think it was 20 bucks. 718-659-1111

Most the time I took Airtrain to Jamaica Station, then the E to Roosevelt Ave/74th st., then the Q33 to LGA. Takes an hour to an hour 20. IF you have a metro card the transfer from subway to bus is free...so you can do it for 7.25. (4.75 if you get the 10 pass airtrain card)...but I'm cheap and a regional guy

I can't help associate ftb with his avatar. And I can't even count the numbers of times I see a post like this, and the avatar, and I think "there's a good boyyy! Who's a good boyyy!? You're a good boyyy!".

Nice job, once again.;)

can anyone give a quick answer to this one: can a reserve pick up a trip in open time and if so is it paid over the 70 hours?

A reserve generally cannot pick up a trip in open time. You can put a greenslip in that will pay the trip over 70 hours if it's on your days off, but those are awarded in seniority order after all whiteslips and reserves have been exhausted.

Gentlemen,

I'm reading up on greenslips and the contract is worded poorly. (I don't know what a "loop back" is.)

If I put in for a greenslip that conflicts with a later trip, they can still give it to me, and I'm off the hook for the entire duration of the later trip, right?

I believe you are correct. But a "greenslip with conflict" is extremely rare.
