3) I'm confused. Are you saying that outsourcing is a straw man that was never alive to begin with and never a threat?

I would certainly agree that there are mainline pilots and ALPA politicians who support(ed) outsourcing. Some have seen their error. Some have not.
To say that ALPA watched in horror as the outsourcing proceeded is just not true. Those contracts were promoted and sold to the rank and file as great deals. RJs were "saving Delta". Feeding the mainline. Developing routes. Raiding our competitor's hubs. etc. etc. Surely you recall that dog and pony stuff?

If Bar is saying that:

1.) we are our own worst enemies when it comes to outsourcing,
2.) that we never should have voted in these crappy contracts that allowed the outsourcing of our jobs, &
3.) that we should have gone on strike 10-12 years ago to stop it,

I'm with him. But, I'm not sure that is what he is saying. It's all coded. :D

I played football in high school and still have discomfort in my shoulder. The only reason I did it, was the only reason any high school guy plays football ===> Chicks dig it.

But, when you get into your 40's and you can barely stand up straight or open your hand all the way, chicks don't dig that so much anymore.

I already feel it here and there... got some gimped up cartlidge on my lower left rib cage (flamed up a year and a half ago and was shooting pain up into my chest...got worried enough that I went to the emergency room finally one day). Then theres my knees... Thats going to be fun in another 15 years or so.

That being said... what happen to the other person that resulted in your "shoulder discomfort?" "Head explosion?"

It was from multiple plays and I know the main culprit. A reverse from our halfback to our slot and I was the tight end on the opposite side. The linebacker would start one way, then when the play reversed, I was right there -- with my shoulder.

It was my favorite non-passing play. :D

...it's like Amsterdam (without the coffee shops). All we need is underboob.

Freaking awesome. I would have been that unfortunate linebacker, haha. Well, maybe... we read guards where I played, which would typically take you right to where the ball was even in trick plays... and preferrably not the SHOULDER OF PAIN as bestowed by newk.

However, having mentioned "multiple plays" "slot" "tight end" and "play reversed" in one post without a single hot chick, this requires an intervention:

80, if Newk talking about a football causes that post, it begs the question, have you ever heard one of those "things that sounds dirty but aren't"? They usually have them after the March Madness or Olympics from all of the sports casting.

Here is one for John Madden.

Any good indie move recommendations out there? One we really liked is on Hulu, "Strictly Sexual"
Two successful women, sick and tired of dating and relationships, decide to keep two young men in their pool house for strictly sexual purposes.
Very funny, lively, and real. Best movie we've seen in a long time.
