Ok, getting very frustrated over my attempts to move reserve off days for next month. After several attempts I finally got one to go through without the "violates off day grouping" warning. Then three or four PCS runs resulted in "capped reserve days." Now I get "1: WARNING - PILOT NEEDS 24 HOURS REST ." Anyone know what that means?

If for June, are you trying to move days into a grouping of 7 days or more? For some reason I don't think that they will let you move days into groups larger than 6.(Cause they might have to release you for 24hrs if not given a trip with a layover of 24hrs, thus giving you an extra day off) Interestingly enough Pbs allows this. I know some actually bid for large groups of R days in a row, hoping not to get a 24 hr layover, thus getting an extra day off.

The Neg. Notepad email from May 19 shows the items approved and tentative implementation dates. |
Tidewater Community College, in Virginia, will soon require students to go above and beyond Education Department requirements to receive federal loan funds. Starting next fall, students who want the college to certify their eligibility for student loans must complete personal budget worksheets, outlining a “realistic picture of their financial situation” both before and after graduation, and a student loan repayment plan estimating how their monthly payments fit into those budgets. |

No repayment plan- no loan? What if that catches on nationwide? I'm curious what a bank would say to "I want to borrow $160,000 for college" (using Auburn out of state numbers) "and another $50,000 for flight lessons, and when I graduate I'll make $18,000 and be at that bottom feeding regional for a long time, especially if we can get age 70 and shift more flying from mainline to the regionals."
 |

The banks wised up a couple years ago. The flight school loans are harder to get now. When I was going through it was so easy I did all of them online with no direct interaction with a live person ever. I wish someone wouldve stopped me
