Nah, DEET ain't that bad. No big deal. Besides, you'll probably hardly ever go to work and when you do you're flying one hot looking airplane with a side stick, big seats and a tray table that folds out into your lap that can only hold 120 lbs, no more, and it never ever makes a bad landing- and it makes 3 per landing. Folks, hell of an airplane:

:D

Its MD88 ATL B you want to avoid. Makes malaria look like a cake walk. Just ask Bar.

Doesnt look all that impressive. However, check out the MD-88 on landing:

No, not necessarily true. We have a lot of that on ATL MD88 B, albeit mostly the 40 year old version but still. The only problem is you're flying the MD88. They're not interested in you because obviously you're not good enough to do better. That's why they call this the modern day blue ball plane.

The predecessor being that PBY or whatever it was in WWII that always broke down prior to guys R&R.

Really, here are some pictures of some ATL MD88 Bs, would you want to join this group?

After all, it is Mecca.

ATL 320 will be no better fwiw. :D

80, they announced where the 330 will be going? Last I heard is Africa for week long layovers (none of that 30 hour 3 day crap), Syria, Yemen, JFK.

That's a better option than having them displace 744 guys, which many of them can do... Both A's and B's.

Those guys won't take the pay cut. All they have to do is one 12 day trip per month in DTW on the A330. They will follow it, retire, or go to the whale. They would lose $1600 a month going to the ER, or they can spend $50 on a hotel room the night before their 12 day trip. Tough choice? And they would have to spend a month in ATL in 767 school. Sorry, don't think so. Most are ready to retire, not ready to hit the books.

Anyone know why the Company commissioned the publication of a A320 to 737 training guide?

Things that make you go ..." huh? "
