Is that for real?

That does make me go huh. 737 to a320 would be more in line with rumors/logic.

Can anyone tell me if the ATL 767 is still a category that we can bid? Or has it been converted to ER status?

Thanks,
SW

There are no vacancies, but you could displace into that category. The ER conversion is on hold for now. My guess is that any 767/757/ER flying is going to get senior and result in displacement pin action down to the 737/320/MD88/90.

Here's a question... if a category does not have a vacancy, can someone bid a new category and move directly into it via the AE even if they are not being displaced? I know a VD or MD will generate movement, but could someone be like "Eh... I'm sick of (insert airplane here) so its time to try
(insert airplane here) and get it, even if they would not have been displaced and there were no new openings?

Some positions may open (i.e. 737) as guys move. However, they mentioned that they were not going to backfill the 777, 7ER, or 767.
