If we have underboob sightings here on APC, might this be the first under "cheek" pic posted? Good one, 80. :D |

Ok. I have a contract question and I admit I'm too lazy to look it up.
If you bid reserve so that you are off the last week or so of the month, can you put in a yellow slip request for those days off? If so, where are you in the pecking order of things? Behind blockholders who have whiteslip requests? Seniority order? Finally, if so, what do you get paid? Reserve trip pay over guarantee? Regular pay over guarantee? Thanks to anyone who answers..... |

It won't be a "Yellow slip" because it's your days off, it would be a Green Slip and it would pay you the trip's value, above the 70 reserve, assuming you didn't fly over 70 yet. So if it's a 20hr. trip, you'd get 90. For assignment, you would go below line holders with white slips, and behind regular reserves and behind reserves with yellow slips (on their days on call).

That depends on the staffing level in your category, if they are over staffed, yes, it's nearly impossible to break 70 on reserve. In the before time, we could put in "Low Slips" and "High slips" which meant you either didn't want to be use unless they were out of other reserves (low slip) or you wanted to be called first (in seniority with other high slips). What happened was some guys were flying 80+ while others didn't fly at all, but got paid 70. Now, nobody gets over 70 until everyone has flown pretty nearly 70.
