As far as Boeing goes, there is a lawsuit/inquiry going on with the NLRB (or one of the Boards) about moving a 787 line to South Carolina. I heard that if the move was done to punish the union for not being willing to sign a "no strike" contract this last time, it is illegal. Looks like Boeing is facing an up hill battle.
Here is one of the later articles on the topic: Business & Technology | Boeing's South Carolina move gets even more political | Seattle Times Newspaper Denny I dont know how much is reported on the 787 pos or how much you guys track it, but I am not certain that plane will fly in revenue service without a redesign and significant insourcing. Boeing is going to destroy its first 20 jets, almost every fuel tank delivered from the outsourced (Japanese?) manufacturer has to be re-manufactured/re built once it is in the plane -several man weeks per tank and a 100% defect rate. Its not a jet to get excited about. |
Ok... I give up. Where in the ALPA file library is the bid analysis??
That site gives me a headache so bad. |

I'm going to want that back... Embraer. MOM! Embraer has my wingtip.

At times you will be frustrated with the Airbus FMS/MCDU. For instance, if you load the Palace5 in the box for DTW & are told to intercept the airway (rather then go direct DUNKS) then you have to insert SVM, because the MCDU must always have a TO & FROM point...or an anchor point.
Also, you can't line select things into the scratch pad. Overall, it's a comfortable airplane, but it'll keep you on your toes. ;) |

What folder, still can't find one for this AE
Go to alpa.org, log in and go to DAL MEC, then go to the forums and then scroll down to the File Library forum and look for the AE result analysis thread |
Have any of you guys and gals had any experience with airplane partnerships? I've been dying to buy a Stinson 108. A partnership just seems more economical. I found a C-172 partnership that may satisfy my craving to 'own' an airplane. I just don't know if sharing is the way to go. I may just have to buy my Stinson and listen to that harley soundin' Franklin engine!!

Look under the File Library section. I think the thread was called "AE Results Analysis". I clicked on the file that was in second to last post.

The first file in the thread on the ALPA forum has the analysis for this award. It is available in .pdf or Excel. The Excel version allows you to do some filtering.
