Ok. Gotcha. I think they just fark it up sometimes. :D

That, they do. Sometimes, the rotation changes and the report time is later due to IROP or it had a DH on it. I've gotten a "F" code before on reserve and it was because it was one of my On Call days and they didn't give me 12 hours. Used to use them alot in NYC on the MD88.

Non-rev question

I am unable to pull the airport stand-by list information on travelnet for some flights. Is that normal? For example, flights from Amsterdam does not let me view the airport standby list whereas I can view them for flights from London. Is there a work-around for this problem?

It usually takes them a couple of weeks to come out with the projected category and training lists.

While I'm typing... I was an ER guy until the 1st of April, then became a domestic guy, now awarded back to ER. I guess I just have to do WWO and TOE again, right? Seems kinda silly to need any training at all, but I guess it could be January before I convert back.

Can you PM me. I have questions about ER, but am unable to PM. Thanks,

TK

You can line select some things into the scratch pad, just not anything off the FPLAN page. You can line select useless things like the UTC time...

On the A330 its still Pegasus so you also get to deal with Page Update in Progress and hitting CLR key once too many times and not noticing its still in the scratch pad.

There is no Execute key. No separate button for LNAV or VNAV or FLCH. You fly on a green line and Magenta is a time/altitude/speed constraint.

No bank angle limiter for the autopilot and no slipping for xwind landing.

How do you activate a change if there's no execute key? Does it prompt you on a soft key?

There is a physical DIRECT button to press. Once you press that button it will pull up a screen with all the fixes on your flight plan. You can scroll to the fix you're cleared direct to and line select it. That will pull the flight plan up and show what you're commanding, but all print will be in yellow and in the bottom right corner there will be a Verify prompt. In the left corner there will be a Erase prompt. Just hit the Verify prompt, & the Commodore 64 processors start smoking & off you go! :D

A whole bunch of "fully vested retirement" Minnesota resident 330A's are now faced with the harsh new reality of commuting to work. I think the over/under on early outs just went up.
Why punish your body for such a small marginal gain over the amount you could be collecting from the seat of your bass boat.
Delta is going to write them a check for an extra $100 large if they go now. Its a no-brainer.

Prediction -- A follow-up AE in August to fill some senior capt slots.

Airbus should be thanking Embraer right now...for making their A380 prettier.

Love that stream of fuel pouring from the tip!
