Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Talked to an 88 Capt that got counseled for using it twice in one month from DFW. In the conversation it came out that the policy had been used over 400 times already, and a very large percent were from DFW. Didn't have a breakdown of pilot vs FA uses. That would be an interesting number to see. At NWA, the FAs didn't have the call in honest policy. I suspect the policy won't last long if those numbers continue.

Just had a guy in the jumpseat today that said this exact same thing. He was a dude involved in ALPA stuff but quit cuz he got fed up. Said DPA is around 3000 now but that we shouldn't split up before a contract negotiation
