Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
Again, I'm not the only one who notices.

The pay tables are in French...how could we EVER decipher that!

Ferd <==== waiting for the faux FTB
PS I think it's the same guy. But who.....or is it whom
I am told that the NC is trying to get comparisons for AF and KLM, but it's a longer term project as their application of rules and costing models are completely different. Plus they're contracts are in French and Dutch.
Again, SWA is in the comparison, but Airtran is not.

As to SWA:

Speaking of that... crap... I've got to go bid...

The numbers are in French and Dutch as well. Payrates aren't close to the whole story, Carl. In the case of Ryan Air, the report of high pay didn't paint a nearly complete or accurate picture (no retirement, PFT, etc). The contract comparison reflects actual language, a no groundskeeper spin zone
, so it can be seen in context.

"9 meters."
Rick Sanchez I think was his name?
BTW, with Europe burning, I really believe only Ferd can go in there and get the AF/KLM numbers:

Someone once told me UPS begged DAL to run its aviation department when they got into it, DAL refused. And that DHL offered to pay us to fly airplanes empty if they could have the cargo bay below or something to that effect. We didn't. Nobody's fault here in management, union, DPA or seniority list, just if true it's a colossal fail on the managements of the past given the propensity to outsource why not be the outsourced department? They should know that's where the money is.
Anyways, how about this? Combi's? We could do that on a lot of planes couldn't we?

We could even bring back the -10. That's right. The DC-10.

We were told that studies deemed this limitation to be unacceptable to passengers, even though it's supposedly safer, and that it caused some problems with flight crew/cabin crew interaction.
There was a rumor that we were going to lease some Euro certified combi's(747-300), but that never panned out.
The reason for NOT buying a Combi 747, as given by management at a previous company, is that you cannot get a combi certified by the FAA unless the Cargo is FORWARD of the passenger cabin. Foreign carriers apparently have no such restriction when dealing with their respective government agencies.

What is it that on an RTO will send all of the cargo through the passenger cabin? Then what does the FAA thinks happens with a FedEx or UPS B727, A310, B757, B777, DC8, B767, DC10 or MD11 with the cockpit ahead of the cargo?
Sucks. I want a combi.
