Not trying to be the grammar police, but the word "penultimate" is probably the number one malaproriately used word in the English language. It means almost the exact opposite of what most people thinks it means. But perhaps you ment it that way.

Oh boy, Tab. Now you've done it. You dared to imply tsquare was wrong on something. Standby for a whole string of personal insults coming your way.

Tsquare,

Telling PG to stick isn't productive - although he is usually WAY OFF BASE (and I don't think he'll ever come off that position) on his whole commuting is a choice position (Ask all our DFW commuters (or any of the other LARGE bases DAL has closed over the years)).

You obviously haven't paid attention to my actual view. I have no problem with PS passes for XX years for pilots living in a closed base. I also have no problem if we, as a pilot group, negotiate for more generous moving expense allowances. But when a guy gets hired, and continues to live in Timbuktu, then calls in sick because he can't catch his commuter flight, and our sick leave hours get cut as a result.... yeah, I've got a problem with that.

So it would be better for the company and/or the pilot group's pool of available company money come contract time if every single pilot availed themselves of the company paid move every single time they are diaplaced/base closed/etc? What would that add up to be and would it be more or less than the total cost of those portions of sick calls that could be fairly credited towards that kind of behavior?

You've illustrated why the only valid info that comes out of PG's mind is R&I (which he is great at). The rest... well... is of the clone mindset.

Well you must live in a closet because that is a very common statement/sentiment among the masses.

Absolutely.

For proof you can look at the UAL/CAL scope proposals. They propose to return UAL's RJ scope from unlimited 70 seat to 50 seat jets.

I hope you are right.

If you're not. Then PG has to body paint Alfa and Reroute.
