I had the pleasure of having Captain Jensen on my jumpseat out of JAX a few months ago. He was a class act and true gentleman and I'm honored to have met him. Rest in peace Captain Jensen.

Not to detract from the tragic events with CA Jensen today, but I just got my A-320 welcome letter and it states that it is an SIC rating for FOs instead of the Delta usual PIC, is this correct?

Yes...PIC is for CAPT's only. Your certificate will show an A320 rating followed by "limitations: A320 SIC only".

Yes. NWA only gave an SIC type in the 320 and I guess that trend continues. :(

Kind of ironic since the only difference was taxiing the plane around for a bit and flying an approach from the left seat during the MV. Now I will be able to taxi fully from the right seat and won't have said PIC rating. Go figure!
