Bingo. If it takes you 750 characters to put something in there, you don't know how to get to the point.

I know you can save the survey, but did anyone figure out if you can edit it post-submittal? The site says you can "retake" it. I'd rather not find out it wiped out my answers once I clicked on "take survey".

Thanks.

... And I agree: 750 characters is plenty.

I agree completely! Reserve should not be a huge pay cut v. regular. I vacillate between both frequently and reserve months always present a financial challenge. I think ATL-based guys can make up some of the difference but us out here in the hinterlands are not as fortunate. 75 hour min guarantee is an absolute for this next contract. I'd like to see 78-80 personally. Secondly, two pilots flying the same rotation should get the same credit, period! Finally, some sort of credit for short call. Currently, its a mish-mosh with schedulers having way too much latitude and no accountability.

That's all, back to the survey.

I agree. What really sucks is picking up green slips on reserve. I've never done it, but I assume a reserve can pick up a two day green slip for 3.5 hours while a line holder would be getting 21 hours. Most green slips are just for turns anyway. As a full time reserve commuter, I'm always financially challenged.

I think the morning reserve utilization order ought to be published for review at 8am.

I think you should be able to reduce your RAW and YS for a specific trip again instead of reducing your raw and hoping you'll get a specific trip but they can give you whatever they want.

I think the next up for SC list ought to be published because it's not RAW score based. And you should be able to bid for or even have a standing bid for specific times (4am, 6am, 8am, 10am, 1030am, 12pm, 2:30pm).

So the newhire, Military retiree and AbInitio Candidate start their career with the smallest aircraft at Delta.

So you think a Military retiree should start the same place as an AbInitio candidate?

Won't happen at Delta.

Good morning FTB;:D

my food for thought on reserve:

minimum daily guarantee 6+ hours. Shortcall gives pay/credit for raw of 16% of alv. When pilot has completed his 6 s/c periods, he is done for the month. Reserve pilot flying should credit the same as regular. International shortcall and domestic shortcall should be equal,12 hours max. Pilot to pilot swap board should remove the ability to trip park EASILY this should be done by removing the ability to pick back up a swapped trip unless it has sat on the swap board for at least 1 day as a pick up no call required trip.

I can tell you that DAL is concerned about the retirements and more importantly about where they are going to find a similarly qualified candidate to backfill the position.

pfffffffffft

Until Delta does that....they are not serious nor concerned about finding 'similarly qualified' applicants. By the way, the loan is way past overdue.

This^ DAL follows this recommendation, and guys will be leaving SWA for DAL. Of course after Carl Icahn fires the ATI guys we will have a pretty big pool to choose from.

Agree about the loan.
