Happy Thanksgiving to all!

And if you're on a long overnight just remember that Cracker Barrel is open and they have traditional thanksgiving food!

Heck I'm off and still might be there! Sick kiddos as of late last night can't go mix with other kiddo's at the in-laws.

...or we may just do it anyways. ;) Wha? Her nose is running? Just wow! What's with her voice? That's so funny, she wasn't like that on the drive up... pass me some more of that casserole will ya...

When I was growing up, if anyone in the neighborhood had chicken pox my mom would drag us over to play with the infected. She wanted us to be exposed. Drove her nuts. We were all immune. Never did get it.

So, tell the family you are doing them a favor. Building immunities. Then ask for seconds on the pie.

Happy Thanksgiving APC!

I lifted this from a post in the ALPA forum....

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary.

Every word out of the bird's mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to
change the bird's attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he
could think of to 'clean up' the bird's vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the
parrot got angrier and even more rude. John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that he'd hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out
onto John's outstretched arms and said "I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and
actions. I'm sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior."

John was stunned at the change in the bird's attitude.

As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird spoke-up, very softly, "May I ask what the turkey did?"

Ha! Bring those kids! Heck since there might be free casserole involved, I might even show up! How's that for a threat. :D

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I'm a motorhead and thoroughly enjoy discussions about cars, boats, snowmobiles, trucks, etc.

I honestly couldn't give a rat's a** about college football, but I haven't complained as you've gone on-and-on about University of Tennessee football.

I find the thread's diversity interesting...

Re read my post.. pay particular attention to the first 5 words...

"I guess it was inevitable given Delta's misguided stance on retiring the airplane that could do no wrong. I guess we'll find comfort in knowing we're still getting MD-90s and have a plethora of MD-88s. All of which," tears filled his eyes, "are still DC-9s on the pilots certificate. Newk leaving for a Boeing only gives the Boeing guys something to hang over our heads, and they've never been able to do that until now."

Staring into the sky, a slight bit of overacting, FTB said: "But the one thing Newk should know, is, the Boeing 767-300ER has a problem with the inverted flight tanks. It won't do a Negative G push over. Even below one G, they risk a flame out. Operationally, they will do a zero to one G only."

I wanted to wait until the sparks died down, but once again, you are hilarious!

Happy Thanksgiving. :D

Yes. Go to travelnet and book it under company business. Don't take a first class seat. Call Scheduling to let them know what flight you will be on.

Happy Thanksgiving. :)
