Scambo ... Agree totally.

I've got an '02 F-350 with the 7.3 and six speed. I ordered it right after 9/11 and waited about three months.

Have upgraded the engine quite a bit. It's very powerful...can tow a 10,000 lb trailer up a six percent grade at 65 mph.

Several years ago I realized it was stupid to drive this thing around doing errands, etc. Now it only gets driven when I need its towing or hauling capabilities so it should last a long time.

I really like the truck and I can't get another like it as you can no longer get a manual transmission in a Diesel Super Duty!

You guys need to step up the the cummins...... Granted the dodge chassis isn't up to the Ford but as far as engines go neither the Duramax or powerstroke hold up like a cummins. You can make over 1300 RWHP on the stoke block, crank, rods, and pistons with a 5.9 cummins, try that with the other two! :D

Well T...

I'm a motorhead and thoroughly enjoy discussions about cars, boats, snowmobiles, trucks, etc.

I honestly couldn't give a rat's a** about college football, but I haven't complained as you've gone on-and-on about University of Tennessee football.

I find the thread's diversity interesting...

I agree the Cummins is the champ and Dodge should get credit for that... I'm just not a Dodge guy. The closest Dodge dealer is less than optimal, Ford had Z plan pricing for Delta employees, and zero percent financing on an ordered truck when I got mine.

And to keep it (sort-of) on topic... Parking a long bed, crew cab, lifted 4 x 4 pickup in the employee parking lot is a challenge.

And there goes the neighborhood.............:)

Note that it has damage from a rear end collision.

I have another question about the AE, am I correct in that pilots with an MD are trained in inverse seniority order for that category only? For example someone senior to me with an MD to NY ER could be trained before me, going to the DC9? I really hope so. Not looking forward to switching airplanes. It seems it would be a waste of money to train pilots on an airplane they plan to get rid of.

i thought it was opposite since its a forced MD the junior goes first so the senior guy can stay in his position he's being forced out of for the longest possible time. Im not sure though
