A LOT of troops are coming home meeting there new additions for the first time. Just some perspective for the many sacrifices they make every day.

With regard to the hat, there's a difference between Andy Griffith and Barney Fife. Krash is an Andy Griffith kind of guy where he would want you to wear your hat per policy, but he's not Barney Fife about it. That's what I was trying to tell you. But if you still want to disrespect him for that, I'm sure he won't lose much sleep.

Fair enough. I respect him for his position. And I really don't want to resurrect this whole bunch of crap... CRAP again. SO I'm out.

Oh, and disrespect is NOT a verb.

Actually it is both a noun and a verb, depending on usage...

If scheduling doesn't help you out, call the Chief Pilot and see what he can do to help.

Guys,

I don't understand why there is such a big deal about wearing hats? Sometimes we sound like toddlers. The company asks for it - wear it. Tons of people don’t like tons of things about their jobs.

If you don't like it make sure it is the right size and looks good. Take it to dry cleaning once in a while with the rest of your uniform.
And besides, what's next? Backpacks, wrinkled shirts, dirty shoes? Spiky hear? Earphones? Nipples, visible through your shirt? Crying about how delta tickets should be flown by delta pilots? But from the way we look - what's the difference?
Maybe I am exaggerating here, but can we really ask for 100% pay restoration if we look like pilots who make $20/hour?

PS. NO, NOT RUNNING for CPO. No, not a Marine. Yes, worked for a company where hats were optional and didn't wear it for years. No, not balding. Yes, tired of seeing pilots who look like trash. Thx.

You might be correct with ever-changing language and the influence of degrading education and social media, but not according to this:
