Pilot to pilot swap board is a completely different animal from open time on E-crew/I-crew. It will show up there if you put in for it to be a personal drop, after the next PCS run. It will appear as a qualified (Q) trip. Somebody can pick it up, but not trade for it.

See, this is what I'm getting at. Is it really wise to pee on your support, ala DALPA? I am more DPA than ALPA, thanks to conversations with others, but seriously, you are doing more to turn me off of DPA. I have to ask myself, Are all DPA supporters as angry and condescending as you? Do we have to toe the Spackler line, or can we be dissenting supporters? Will we be tolerated if we disagree with you, or will we be harangued as "closet ALPAites?"
I went through 3 union drives at a previous carrier. Our independent drive was destroyed by one person. This person was very vocal, just like carl. I can only hope that Tim can help tone down his voice. Carl, your message needs to be heard. Your delivery is questionable. Fix the delivery and you will have more people helping you spread the message. Keep up the same condescending attitude and you will drive people away. |

DPA members as of today:
3856 and rising.:D So, how many cards will it take before DPA feels confident to call an election? 50%+1? 55%?, 60%? At the rate they've been accumulating them (and it's been fairly linear since they started reporting them back in January), they'll hit 55% 8 months after we've been in negotiations and just before the amendable date. Meaning, they can call for an election, and we can all take a two year hiatus from those pesky negotiations, while we have an internal representational struggle. Great plan. |

Hoser, try to look at it as objectively as you can. If you do that, I think you'll see a heck of a lot more attacks on Carl than by Carl. |

The length of PG's timetable may be a little long.
The idea that disrupting the entire negotiations process for an extended period of time in the middle of a critical Sect. 6 is correct. If it doesn't worry you, that is a problem. If you are not concerned about USAPA, SWAPA, APA, etc. problems with the Seham Law firm, that is a problem too. |

No capital was wasted on the hat issue, pilots just stopped wearing them and the company finally came to grips with the reality. Not sure about the jackets, I think it was along the same lines.
I think the hat should be optional in the summer uniform, though. |
