Are there ATL 88B Surpluses posted in the A/E? Even if there are not, the trickle down of MEM closing could (will) cause some downward push out of what ever the bottom seat in ATL is, providing those MEM guys go to ATL and not CVG or DTW.

No matter how you slice it, schidt rolls downhill, so the closer you are to the bottom, the more likely you are to get shat upon.

As for the "jr" part - we were here first - 1801 :) So maybe we're Sr and just old.

23G5, You are off the hook if crew scheduling does not contact you within 12 hours of your original report. I used to bid with LCAs when I was on the Mad Dog.

Was called already (more than 12hrs prior to trip) and informed. Also told I am subject to 23G5. So my question is:
If they reassign anything to me by duty in of my original trip (or even earlier like 12 hrs prior) what are my obligations? Am I on resv the foot print of my trip or only a time frame like in 23K (must be assigned within first 6 hrs or else released)
Thanks

I'll stick with the Quack attack tho the 2 year old made me go to bed with 6 minutes to go in the 4rth. I made him sleep in his Duck warm ups. :D

You can only be assigned recovery flying once, so once they give you anything, it can not change (until after the first leg and then it is a RR) so you have no other standby obligation.

If they haven't given anything within 12 hours, you are off. They also can not assign you anything that starts prior to the report of your original pairing.

As an example, if you get a one day trip on "A" day, (unless you are rerouted) you are done and have no other standby obligation.

Or sitting in some FL panhandle hotel, mulling through the ACP postings regarding the last AE, wondering if staying in ATL will be an option in the next year, or if said pilot should look forward to long walks in Jackson Heights, and if sitting reserve on the ER in NYC would be better than holding a line on the 88!

Praying ... God send new hires to staff New York, and Minneapolis and Detroit ... They don't call us the Bible Belt for nothing, we get religious about displacements and Georgia football.
