"The chances are it's not."

ACL,

Any word on the amount of PERP takers, or will they just announce how many took it after the deadline?

Johnson, Santa is REAL. I don't want you having a breakdown, unless you are senior to me. If so, did you hear about the PERP program? :)

I wouldn't do that to ya!

How is the new addition to the family? Changes your perspective on things doesn't it?

I do not think that, that data will be compiled until closer to the deadline.

I can check though. I am sure there is nothing worthwhile. I know personally that if I was going to take it, I would wait until 72 hrs out to make my final decision and then submit my papers. I would have em filled out on my desk though.
Maybe you should go to all your buddies houses in MN and see if they have them on their desks ;)

I've met two guys in the last week that said they were seriously thinking about taking it.

1. Delta Guy bid off narrowbody Captain seat to get a little 777 time as FO. Said he thought he was ready to hang it up. Better than 75% chance of pulling trigger. Former Air Force with an active duty retirement. 60 years old.

2. FNWA guy - met him last night walking through SLC. Introduced myself and found that he was 330 Captain from SEA that had just deadheaded to SLC for the Narita flight. He said that he was most likely going to take early out. He didn't want to leave SEA and didn't seem too enthused about going through 767 initial. Really nice guy! 61 year old.

Both guys volunteered this information. I guess they just want to talk about it. I know it must be a very difficult decision.

She's AWESOME!!!!!! :) :) Thanks! 5 weeks old this Thursday & one of the BEST things in my life. Priorities have changed completely. If I get furloughed I'll find a way to take care of my wife & daughter(It may not be flying though) It's my #1 priority now.

I think Minnesotans only take other Minnesotans as house guests in the summertime and none at all in the winter time. I am from one of the other 49 states that circle the center of the universe. :D
