Well, this ought to be interesting. They certainly won't furlough before SOC, it would be too messy. Guess it's time to start stockpiling some serious cash.

If the merger is saving our bacon, maybe they can throw some my way. I'm in the bottom 150 so I think I'll be taking handouts soon.

Most are. And if they furlough prior to SOC the cuts will come from this side. It would make sense since we have 700 or so that are able to be cut prior to SOC!

In the long run, it will not even matter. Oil is on it's way back up to $150/barrel, there are no jobs out there, we're in a recession that will turn into a depression, and our government is still spending more than it takes it. The entire economy is going to collapse. The value of the dollar will plummet while inflation will skyrocket. It is not going to be pretty.
