I hope our negotiators do their jobs, but don't come back with a weak TA, or they will, along with ALPA, face the consequences. It's just the truth. Show results or move over. Can you not agree with that? Don't bring us something weak for the TA.
Hey Bill; Did that Rep win his election?

Even if they can't --and I think they can, since they won't be worried about grooming the next chief pilots and otherwise rolling over like ALPA is--at least we won't be sending money outside of our pilot group to support the bloated gluttons in Herndon who are required to support those who would undercut us. At the VERY least, dues will decrease and monies available to our pilot group will skyrocket.

Do folks on here know about the outgoing ATL chief pilot's ALPA background? Totally unsat. I want my union folks to be persona non-Grata in the Mecca hierarchy.

Place your bets!

And on the Wow moment? I would think any DC 9 driver would have one, as soon as he steps into...anything else!

Talk about getting hosed, geeze, pushed of a 40 year old DC 9 to a... MD90, 737-800 or A320. Let's see...that's a pay raise AND a newer jet, right?

I wish I could get screwed like that, just once!
For selfish reasons, I think I have to root for the Saints. I have to clear out the Giants for my Bears to get a wildcard spot.

Back to the WOW: Maybe I should clarify. I think a lot of the DC-9 guys/gals I fly with are just like everyone else -- waiting for the big one.

Please don't think I am complaining either. I've had my WOW and I hope to be done for a while. But, I must point out that the -9 is a great airplane.

Go Saints!

And yet everyone here wants us to be more like SW? Strange

I don't want to be SWA- but I do like asking why should they get paid more?

It's good that we're going into section 6 with a "perceived" low cost carrier making more than we do for the same work. I'm not convinced about everything in our contract but on two major topics, scope and pay, they reign supreme over us.

I'm concerned about AMR.

The only thing I want that SWA has is their pay rates for our 88s/90s and up from there. They can keep the rest of their gig.

Of course they were. We'll all be able to see for ourselves when DALPA releases it...right?
