Don't be so sure about that. The SWA MAX airplanes aren't gonna show up until... 2017. The leases on the 717s run out.. when? I think there is a significant gap there... just saying.

What a freaking joke! we really do suck on on levels of scope, thanks for pushing the slot swap so hard dalpa.

Yep, Skywest boys over on the RJ thread are optimistic about expansion in the near future. Of course, it will be at the expense of much better jobs.... who knew??

What many are not going to see because it was not in a sound bite is this: DAL will be pulling more and more RJ lift out of other hubs like ATL in favor of mainline aircraft. Those 50 seat RJ's that were in ATL are going to go to MEM and those jets that were in MEM will be performing flying in LGA. It is not a a simple addition of mainline flying in LGA that we will see. It is the effect on the other hubs that we will need to take note of.

So what's the thinking that Ma Delta will just plug and play the 717s where the 9's are now? That's much better to get sent as a junior guy to the 717 with all glass than to the Tune, Identify, Monitor world of the 9.

I learned it all by watching Top Gun...

Yeah, I heard aileron rolls are the perfect defense against guns attacks. Especially when no joy...;)

I thought the 757/767 production line were shut down. What do you say we get Boeing to cut some holes in the sides, call them windows for the passengers, then order a bunch?

I'm just sayin'......

757 line was shut down. Boeing is still delivering 767s. Remember all the Air Force Tanker talk? It's a 767-200.

2024 from what Kelly said, but it sounded like Kelly would happily get out of them is Beoing was helpful.... Which if a customer ordered that many new jets, they just might be.
