Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I wish we had some easy way to do this, but really the only way is to give them a call. Seems like it'd be easy to add a feature where we could request a certain time, but it would probably need some kind of contract change.
42 positions already filled by displaced dc9 captains. That is a net zero my friend. Or as close to zero as to be statistically insignificant.

And it also pays LESS than the 30 777 and 15 747 Capt. displacements from the last two bids...
Just say'n.
BUT...why are you guys focused on that nonsense, when you should be thinking about THIS!
It's time for Tim Tebow to get a WAG

My favorite Katherine Hepburn has always been Keely Hazell.
When did she marry FTB?
I don't know why, I thought this was funny......I just got my 6th short call for tomorrow. Well at least I don't have to worry about getting it on 24,25 or 26th. To answer you question, I think you need to call them. I don't, as I try to limit my reserve contact with crew sked to the computer only.

I did call them, and I actually ended up not getting short-call at all, which was a pleasant surprise.
Second, let me give you the definition of "net" as applied here:
net (n
t)adj.1. Business a. Remaining after all deductions have been made, as for expenses: net profit.

A "net" of zero means that after deductions (MEM DC9 CA in our case) there will be the same number of total captains as before the AE.
Here is the quote again from Crew Resources so you can re-read it:
One of the primary drivers of the Nov AE was the addition of 39 330 crews. This helped contribute to a net total of 42 new Captain positions being created from the AE. Some of the new captain positions were filled by upward movement from lower positions, including the DC9.
Simply put, you are wrong. A net increase of 42 captain positions system wide, and ALL of them are at a pay grade greater than the DC9.
There are some real problems we are facing, this isn't one of them so take your straw man and go home.
Let's start with I don't know you so I'm not sure we're friends.

So, let's do a little lesson.

Here is the quote again from Crew Resources so you can re-read it:
There is NOT a "net zero" as you claim. There is a NET GAIN of 42 new Captain positions being created.

This is a real problem, my friend, and I'm already home
