I had a good one last week. Attila told us to speed up by 18 mins.
So how noisy is the aircraft at redline?

His negativity is based on total cluelessness. Sorry hockey, but it is. You are starting to sound like a guy over on the DALPA boards that is anti Delta anything.. Like (newK?) said... you have the keys to the castle.... and somehow.. that's not enough.

No argument.. I'm just responding to the verbiage of what Carl posted.. So we meet with them. Then tell them.. too bad.. we are taking back some... most.. all of that flying, and there's nothing you can do about it. Put in an application, we'll be hiring.

He may have the "Keys to the Castle", problem is, somebody changed the locks...

He may want the key to the highway now;

I don't know whether they have one way or another. I was commenting on your post... thing is, I don't think you actually KNOW one way or another either. You have no more idea of what goes on behind closed doors any more than I do. You are firing from the hip about all this to push your agenda of DPA. I get that. That's fine too IMHO. I'm just not real interested in DPA because of their pathetic legal choice, and most of all lack of a public, written statement (I think you call that... transparency..) from the leadership that there will be no re visitation of the SLI. Fire away.

ummmmmmmm what? I'm not blindly following some overpriced lawyer everywhere... Lawyering is like being a pool shark. There's ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS someone better. Their language suggestions should ALWAYS benefit Delta pilots. Period. NO EXCEPTION.. EVER. Therein lies the conflict of interest.

I agree, but what it does is allows the differences between pilots to be dealt with away from the bargaining table with the company.

I disagree with this or that with ALPA, but it does not mean that I will sue them.

National generally gets to deal with these issues, and it allows the MEC to deal with pilot issues. Just think of the assessments you would get if we were an independent and had some of these large DFR lawsuits. Have to pay for them somehow, and with a National structure with lawyers on the payroll, insurance for the settlements etc, it is all part of the existing dues structure. If you were an independent, the pockets are not that deep for the amount of legal help that would be required.

Do we get any kind of study days on our schedule to complete the thumb drive or do we find our own time before we report to training? 2.) Should I spend any real time in the VOL II or should I only focus on the thumb drive?
Can't you see there's a full blown fight going on here? How presumptuous of you to think anyone will answer a real question that is not full of rhetoric and flamebait.

My advice is....... uh.... I dunno. I haven't been to initial training for a long time.. and hopefully will never go again....
