Does anyone have the yield numbers for June? I'd be curious to know. The flights were packed this weekend, albeit thanks to some weather too. A lot of HKs and HK1s on the non-rev lists. I was about to go for a CRJ-900 flight with 21 open seats when they swapped it for a CRJ-200 a few hours prior and it went to -5.

If all they would really talk about is 200 folks then we could mitigate that number. Its better then guys at FDX taking a reduced ALV across the whole pilot group.

I broke guarantee last month and will this month as well. Got called for an IA early in the month and on my current 6 day avail period have been flown every day. Good news is the planes are packed. I'm convinced we're giving the seats away. Looking forward to spending the summer in ATL again like last year though. Still won't break 70, but it's nice to see some new (to me) cities. I'll even sing the praises of sitting reserve as a EWR standby before I happily take a furlough though. :) |

Is this new?
Was this already done on DAL-S flights? Just curious.
Customers in economy class receive complimentary beer, wine, upgraded breakfast BusinessElite customers enjoy entrees from celebrity chef, wine selections from master sommelier Customers traveling Delta Air Lines on international flights now enjoy the same in-flight experience on both Delta and its subsidiary, Northwest Airlines - the latest sign that Delta and Northwest are now one. As part of its $500 million investment to integrate the two airlines, Delta this month is standardizing its international offerings available on all long-haul aircraft featuring a BusinessElite cabin (the former "World Business Class" on Northwest aircraft). For travelers flying in the international economy cabin, that means complimentary beer and wine throughout flights operated by Delta and Northwest. Spirits, including Delta's signature cocktails by Rande Gerber, also are available for $7 each. Additionally, on flights longer than 3,800 miles customers in the economy cabin receive an upgraded hot breakfast. |

There is a tear in my eye, I was called twice for inverse assignments this morning. It brought peace to my heart that there might be hope for us yet.
And, I had to buy a one-way ticket for my wife to non-rev out of Virginia to ATL after 1 full day of trying and tomorrow looking just as bad. Neither RIC, ORF, PHF or RDU had seats, IAD or DCA were very close and maybe doable but for a 4 hour drive it wasn't that viable. Kind of mixed emotions, like not being able to non-rev brought hope. All of the flights had excessive HKs and HK1s on them. Hopefully people paid full price for tickets. |

That's not likely, we are much cheaper as a pilot group than either AF or KLM.....
They are likely ****ed at us for taking PHL-CDG, PIT-CDG, EWR-AMS, BOS-AMS. Need I keep going? |

I used to fly out of ORF a lot to ATL and I remember you had your choice, a small MD-88, a medium sized 727 or a multitude of 757s. Not anymore. I see how PHF is a good RJ airport as in the winter it can really be open but ORF!? I know there has to be a lot of former Navy and I guess some AF guys who still live there and commute that must hate what ORF has become as much as you do. Of course, back when it was mainline DAL jets doing ORF there wasn't a single DAL flight to PHF. I wonder if the ramp up at PHF hurt ORF. ... As far as HK goes: Rank Code Type ELIGIBILITY 1 HKM RS SAME AS HK ONLY EP/PM/GM/MM/FO 2 HKDL RS CONFIRMED CREWMEMBER OR MECHANIC WITHOUT SEAT ASSIGNMENT. 3 HKI RS USE ONLY WHEN PAX HAS BEEN AFFECTED BY AN IROP. USE OF THE //HKI// CODE MEANS THE PAX NAME WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE **REBOOKED LIST** ON GIDS. 4 HK RS CONFIRMED PASSENGER FOR WHOM THERE IS NO AVAILABLE SEAT INCLUDING CONFIRMED PS / PS-Y PASSENGERS. 5 HKV RS CNFRMD PASSENGER WHO IS WILLING TO DEPLANE OR GIVE UP THEIR SEAT ON AN OVERSOLD FLT. AGENTS MAY USE THIS CODE TO CLEAR HK VOL. PAX AFTER CLEARING HK PAX WHO WANT TO TRAVEL. |
