Aren't we getting some MD90s this year?

Hope it's true, would be nice to hear some good news for a change. Who knows maybe RA wants to build a massive RJ base to compete with AMR?

What happened to that rumor about a Guam base? It's probably filed away with the "Delta is looking at the 747-800" rumor. :D

Where do you guys go out of DTW? Is it just back and forth between LAX or the entire west coast?

The west coast plus DEN and SLC. This month we are doing DTW to SEA, SFO, SAN, LAS, and LAX. PDX has been in there but I don't see it this month. DTW is a great hub now that they've figured out the ground support thing. We had a lot of issues a couple of years ago but they're largely gone. I still don't understand why they have four ground freqs which are mostly underused while JFK has one and you can't get a word in edgewise without being totally obnoxious. I tend to fall in the totally obnoxious category.:D

To another C-5 guy. :)

C-141s were cool. C-5s were static displays on jacks. Sheesh...the number of times I picked up their slack.;)

I try to get in, when I'm unable I remind the Captain we're paid by the hour. That's my excuse. I still get confused with the south side ground, ramp or other ramp, who do I call? 88s get a lot of slack up there though. :D ...because we don't care...

DTW-SEA/SFO/SAN/LAS/LAX sounds definitely like you're based there. It is a nice hub, more RJs then any hub i think but great terminal, horrible taxiways on the east side, wish they didn't have the crossing runways, but still, great place. Probably our best. I do enjoy having 2 leg last days (RDU-DTW-ATL) instead of back to ATL and penalty lap.

But I struggle with finding good food there. Taco Bell was a fail. My favorite burrito place from years ago is gone. Suggestions from DTW... or LAX 73 guys?

Where was the C5 fly over?

That's exactly what the Air Force said. Their mission was to fly over at the start to drown out Steven Tyler's voice.

The Internet Cafe (or something like that, can't exactly remember), Online Cafe, oh I don't know, down towards the middle of the terminal. Its next to a bar and across from the Westin entrance. You can call ahead and their food is good. Great sandwiches. The sushi place is also good (but you'd have to be from LA to truly appreciate it). ;)

I normally get the chili from Quiznos down on the A-4 end. When I've been working out, Howie's Pizza and salads rock. Its next to Quiznos.

It would also make sense if they wanted to bring on the c series because that plane will pay less anyways.

Than what, and says who?
