DO NOT ever log in to the Delta WebMail system! Or even attempt to! It will change your system password for Icrew, DeltaNet, PBS, FlightLine EasyBid, etc...

What a total PIA!
So one of you jokesters mentioned EZOpenBoard, I thought I'd look at it. I registered, and it said it was sending a PW to my Delta email. My what? Oh hey, it has instructions to find out that ol' email, I remember seeing a link to that somewhere... Ok, I'll just follow them and see what's in that corporate black hole inbox.

First screen "your PW is expired, please enter new one blah blah", ok sounds reasonable, I've never even logged in to this email system... I'll use "FTB_suxxors" , ok that worked.

Try to log into DeltaNet later, DOH! System PW now changed! And it won't take old ones! So now I have to go into allll these systems and change my PW to get functionality back:
1. DeltaNet normal logins, I know I'm gonna forget it
2. ICrew, I know I'm gonna forget it and clock in late therefore
3. PBS desktop software on main computer
4. PBS desktop software on travel laptop
5. EasyBid on main comp
6. EasyBid on laptop
7. all my super secret PW lists on cell phones etc.
8. I'm sure 5 other places I don't know of yet that will totally screw me at 0100 on some layover.

GAH. Hate the forced PW resets!

Lol I did the exact same thing today...total pita

Funny you just brought this up, and many, many thanks for the tip. I was trying to see my e mail on Deltanet yesterday, but the password/log on thing wasn't working. I figured after 15 years, I might have an e mail or two (was actually trying to see a FLY award, whatever that is..). I gave up after a few failed attempts.
The thought of losing my password far outweighs my curiosity of what might be in my inbox.

Just remember when you're trying to give recommendations to friends once hiring starts, the most important thing is to use your Delta.com e-mail address. That's how they initially filter out those job applications.

So you mean I have a couple more years to worry about activating my DL.com email, right?

Yep it linked to the wrong cell.

Here ya go:

I'll fix that first one.

If you want to make it even uglier, you could add in the "lost" DC/401K/ plan contributions. A $50K delta is really a $57K delta. Of course, then you get closer to a center of mass shot from the left.

Right...I agree it's a pain. Been a victim of mass password reset myself (but it doesn't reset PBS for some reason).

Well I have no intention of ever using it, and that's why. Maybe, some day, we will get some -great minds- into Delta (lack of) Technology...but I'm not holding my breath.

PBS is through an outside vendor, not DT (thank God!), that's why it doesn't reset with the DT stuff.

Also, I've stared at that window picture for 2 days now and don't see anything. Starting to feel bad, like maybe my left brain isn't all together... Can't stare at it anymore, someone PM me what I'm supposed to be seeing.

It took me awhile too. Kinda like trying to find the sailboat in one of those 3D pop-out pics that were the craze of the 90's. This one's just a little creepier

Yeah, it got me when I had to log in for training with the memory stick.

I'm surprised they haven't done a mass changeover already, like they did at another company.......but at least you'll get to do it all again every 90 days once the system is fully running:(

They'za gonna get ya sooner or laterza boyz

However, if you reset your password through the password manager it will reset/establish your email password. That's a lot easier way of setting your email password without changing the others.
