But what "C2K contract comparison" are you talking about? FTB's? Or something put out by DALPA? Cause I haven't seen anything put out by DALPA that compares/contrasts our current pay with C2K... inflation adjusted or otherwise.

I guess I don't understand the point of your above post. Again, maybe I'm missing some background from the previous discussion?

Look at the hotlink I posted. A simple internet search for C2K contract comparisons came up with this data. It looks like DALPA's C2K TA summary and comparison. I cannot find one that compares C2K to POS96. If you or anyone else has that data, I would love to have it. Doing a little work.

I remember that now.. I went look at the IT section and can't find anything interesting about the update anymore. Wonder if they'll move up to IE version 7.0 and call it an improvement?

Two years is an eternity in the IT world. Two years ago there were no iPads and browers were a lot clunkier. I hope they're planning ahead and not using 2010 technology for a 2012 product. They wouldn't do that would they?

Is that only because I DON'T also have a DL.com email account? Or have they just not got to me yet?

Yes, that's almost right... you DO have a DL.com email account, but you didn't LOGIN to it--that's what saves you! All the PW are now the same (if you've used that "system PW reset" on Icrew etc.). However, only the EMAIL SERVER is actually FORCING you to change your PW after 90 days. The other ones are not "enforcing" that plan. But if you try to login to the email server, it WILL pop up that screen telling you you must set a new PW, and then you're boofed.

So... my takeaway is DON'T LOGIN to the delta.com email unless you're ok with allll your PW being reset ,and the associated PITA of re-inputting it again in all your other automated connections to Delta such as easybid etc.

By the way, I did log in to check my email, and the only thing in there for 3 months worth of trash is a "Daily Update" which has some corporate numbers in it. Everything in there was covered elsewhere, it was completely trash. Only thing of value was my dang password for the ezopenboard.com crystal ball, and you don't need that... you can use the seniority predictor at ALPA.com for the same info.

There's way more to the story as to why App development is at a stand still.

FTB:
In your chart you posted why does the entire column to the right have the difference as much higher than C2k minus this contract? They are all about 2000 dollars off unless I am missing something here. Not trying to point out errors, just wondering how those numbers were derived.

Of course there is. Lot of it has to do with Apple's refusal to allow DAL certain protections they wanted.

Reserves going in to pick up? What a great idea!

Unless you're a lineholder trying to WS...

A line holder could still take the trip up until a certain number of hours. The trip didn't disappear it just showed as being assigned but still available.

I agree with Superpilot that the Cal system was better with regard to usability and it was "realtime." Where we disagree is in the fact that their work rule integration stinks so I'm not sure what he's raving about. We already have the ability for a reserve to pickup a trip...it's called a YS and when used properly it gives reserves like myself a lot of control.

I fear that we can tinker with our reserve system to the point where we ruin what is actually a pretty pilot friendly system. Proceed with caution.

Amen.
This place has lost a lot of its unique character.
Its boring without the occasional cheerleader and bikini pics and such.

Please bring back the girls.
