Two things:

1. Still don't see it. Must be getting old.

2. I have 3 PB (Pay Back) days on my RSV Schedule. Do I have any obligation to be available those days?

Thanks!

2. No, but if you can again Green Slip on those days and get three more, the crew room (and your wife) will applaud.

Got lucky one month and manged to fly every trip on PB days. .. and then did nearly the same thing for two more months. My Chief Pilot was laughing pretty hard in the probationary interview ... "ho ho har, chuckle, hey guys come and see this, this guy has rolling thunder down..." unfortunately it never happened again.

I'm surprised they haven't done a mass changeover already, like they did at another company.......but at least you'll get to do it all again every 90 days once the system is fully running:(

They'za gonna get ya sooner or laterza boyz

Ferd

They're probably afraid of what will happen when 12,000 pilots are forced to change their password every 90 days. The help desk isn't staffed for a deluge that big.

I hope you're right! Reading the instructions, I'm not sure my system from the old company will work (keep the letters the same, just change the number by one each time).

We'll see, and don't forget those pesky flight attendants, there are a few of those too:D

If you haven't already seen it, AA plans to get eliminate 15,000 jobs, or 18% of their workforce.

That is sure to be popular

One thing I really give Delta credit for is taking early outs off the top so the remaining employees move up instead of moving down. Better for morale and it saves Delta the expense of its most senior work force. Smart move.

Just remember when you're trying to give recommendations to friends once hiring starts, the most important thing is to use your Delta.com e-mail address. That's how they initially filter out those job applications.

What this does is saves time verifying that you are in fact a Delta Employee. No verification is really needed, they just pull up your e-mail address and verify it. If you use another one, they actually have to go in a verify your employment, which takes time, of which they generally do not have.
