Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

You mean 10 years maybe flying internationally. The rest of the 10 would have been spent behind a desk or deployed or beating up the pattern in a tweet or T-38, or god forbid flying a UAV.

I got the opposite impression. If you go down to where the graph is, it says pilot block hours for March are down 5.4% year over year, but total number of pilots is only down 1.2%. So we are more overstaffed than we were a year ago :(

While your optimism is much appreciated, I interpreted it as, Crew Resources "moving bodies around" to more appropriately staff the categories. (i.e. surpluses on the 747/765/777, and vacancies on the MD90's)

Hope you're right and I'm wrong. From where I'm sitting, I can see the "bottom of the list" pretty easily. :)
