Agree. Got a a SC and a high time 5 day this week and my raw is 55. Target 35 hours credit my $&@.

Hey all, just stayed at the short layover hotel at DCA and used my credit card for my meal at the bar and discovered some company called Vocus... Cloud-based Marketing and PR Software - Vocus charged $869 to my credit card that same day. This company is based in the area. Watch your statements.

I second that, ACL65. Rumor around the school house is 500. I believe they are doing 25/ class now. I still don't see how we are going to meet the summer schedule and how we are going to crew the 75's when they arrive.

Anyone else miss "Delta" ? Wonder when and if it will ever return.

Any shady "trip parking" takes place after the bid is awarded, and thus, should not affect manning. Or am I missing something?

Reserve utilization.

Low historic reserve utilization means the required reserves are lower. Lower required reserves means less people are required. Less people required means less people. Less people means more stagnation.

I know that statement fits into some people's plan like a cold, cold wind blowing through and wiping out the stuff they've gotten addicted to. But the reason we had to go to the board in the first place was that Sawp with the Pot had become completely useless due to the abuse of Reserves Required formulas by the company. So the unintended consequence of having a poor system to swap with open time, has been to allow pilots to fly much, much (much) more than max pick-up.

A good Swap with the Pot, with rational restrictions, would keep everyone honest at or below max pick-up, and wouldn't allow those that whaure for the flying to add insult to injury by trashing the staffing.

I know this very idea infuriates a bunch of people, but at some point in your career, you've got to look around, realize your friends are turning tricks, with white stuff on their nose, and you've got to wonder if it wouldn't be better if we could get our dignity (and our staffing) back.

No no no!

This is the "Private Hershnickelfritz took an extra danish in the chow line! Everybody has to do push ups" approach.

Relatively simple modifications to the rules would fix the trip parking issue.

Then he said it dawned on him he gave the lecture while laying in bed. Day 5 and he hadn't done anything but shoot squirrels, played on the internet and kicked the soccer ball around. :D

I like this guy!:D

Days on reserve so far 4(starting 4 tomorrow), raw 15, SC 3(expecting one tomorrow). Thought this system might be good for junior commuters as we would maybe fly more. Between no open time and the *****s who WS everything/anything, I don't anticipate flying much until summer. I do expect to hit all 6 SCs by mid month though and still be in the first bucket at top. At least I'll be top 2-3 in something in my life:)

The good news is that the SC buckets that are coming will greatly improve SC assignments. Once you hit 3 they'll have to use other pilots with less SC's before coming back to you.

As a junior commuter I have no desire to fly more. I guess it depends on whether or not you can sit LC at home.

Hockey, how many SCs/fly days did it take to get to bucket 2?
