Anybody else hear about a DAL 767 hitting a bad mountain wave this morning? 6000' deviation? A buddy was out flying round the Rockies and dispatch sent them messages about it and ATC was talking about it.

No, I've been hanging on VA, but it could have been my engine out landing. It would've caused seismic ripples across the lower 48.

What fun would this thread be without a couple rumors or more? :D "I heard from someone, who knows someone, who talked to a LCA, (probably Tsquare), that has a cousin, who's also a mechanic here, that we're getting 100 - 100 seat a/c prior to contract MEMRAT!! :eek:
