I don't own one but that's a good price if you qualify.
S&W has 5R rifling which I think is a plus. The sports draw backs are: No chrome lined barrel No forward assist No dus cover It is a great entry level AR but look at the M&P 15T also. You get the thing missing from the sport (except a chrome lined barrel) plus a full rail and fold up front and rear sights. Good luck with your purchase. I wouldn't sweat the forward assist unless you just want one for old times sake. No dust cover sucks though. The 1:8 twist is the perfect all around barrel for anything ranging from cheap 55gr ball to 70+ gr high end match. At that price it looks like a great deal. |
I just was looking to book a trip to Stx, it's now a crj 700. That's a 3 hour plus flight. I remember it was either a md88 or a 900 but now a 700?? The 700 is almost like the 200 in the back. Is there a way you can limit scope by length of route too? Do it by may too please.

Is the bbl nitrited? If so that's every bit as good as chrome lined and if done right, it'll be far more durable.

As you said there is nothing wrong with this per se, and the argument can be made that it is more accurate, but a little harder to clean with a little less barrel life. The S&W 5R rifling should also increase accuracy and make cleaning easier as well. Having the forward assist and the dust cover make going up to the next model an attractive option plus it includes a full picatinny quad rail and MPUS front and rear sights. However, both are great guns and the sport is a great price. |
Hey guys I noticed on the DAL profile page they changed it to say all pilots on furlough bypassed recall and changed the furlough # to read 0? Last time I checked the seniority list we still had about 240 guys showing on there with recall rights. Of course we know they have bypassed but is there something I don't know about, as in have they given up their recall rights? Because if not we still have furloughs right?

I think those still on bypass have 'expired' ie. there is a time limit to how long you can bypass. Is it 5 years? I'm not sure, but, that limit has been reached for those 240 I guess.

I don't think this is correct. Folks who have bypassed still have opportunity to return when hiring resumes. If memory serves me right, there were some extensions granted with the merger as well. I believe the update simply is stating all those furloughed have been offered a recall. |

I believe recall time was extended to 14 years with the merger. However, I believe once they hit the 10 year mark they were required to send a letter stating if they were still interested in returning in order to get the extra 4 years. |
