All of the work rule improvements will increase pay (or decrease days of work so if you need more pay you can WS). Just my quick thoughts.

15 will not do it.. Scope will need to be tight too, not just some improvements with concessions elsewhere in section 1

Also we are going for a average daily credit, not a min day. That is what the opener said. Makes those 10:30 hr three days, 15:45, but it still allows flexability, as long as every calander day averages out to 5:15.

Small categories, small pilot groups means not room to spread everything out thus you get alot of sc's. Happened to me all the time when I was in Memphis. Especially if you choose to work weekends when manning is less

When do you and your masterful pilot skills head out again, Superpilot? :D

Good point. Huge gains in w2 without huge gains in hourly rate. Eyes on the prize boys!

Wife and 2 and half year old non-revving by themselves. To Florida. In February. From Detroit.

Made it! (first try, both ways!)

That might pass just barely.

I'll take 5, 5, 5, and 5. I'll pass it with a smile on my face!

If we're paid by TAFB.

If not TAFB then duty hour.

:D

I could afford one of these:

See, this is a classic example of our expectations being managed! Only one beaver? Really?? You need a turbine twatter with multiple beavers riding the twatter. Duh! You can fit 14 beavers in a twatter on floats.

Btw, my summer job used to be a beaver cleaner......yup!

There used to be a lot of Delta pilots with Bonanzas and Barons. Other than the retired folks, I only know one current Delta pilot (other than myself) who remains current in general aviation aircraft.

Had a group going to Sun and Fun, but our reason for going (an incidental business trip) fell through.

FTB: Are you a Mooney nut, or did you just like the great paint scheme on that one? I used to fly a M20C as a Company Car and loved it. Great airplane.

Is all of Section 1 part of your math when considering the gain or loss in scope?

Currently DAL has unlimited off-list:
50 and below jets
70 and below turboprops
JV flying (except with Skyteam transatlantic)
Alaska Codeshare and other international codeshare

AND 255 off-list 51-76 jets.

Would would you agree or disagree that it would be a gain or loss in scope if:

Capped and PERMANENTLY reduced (over a set timeframe) all 50 seat jets and no renewal permitted off-list

0 off-list future turborprop flying

ALL JV flying required to be 50% DAL pilot EASK's/block hours/whatever metric), lookback average returned to 1 year instead of 3, with monthly financial penalties paid to the Delta Pilots when out of compliance.

ALL codehares have time limits or cutoff points if the codeshare is a revenue deal

Alaska codeshare is limited/reduced over time/ sunsetted completely.

DAL can operate 1 more 51-76 seat RJ's off-list for every 2.5 50 seat jets that are removed from service, up to a limit of X airframes (say 50-100)?

Is it a gain or loss....

***DISCLAIMER***The above is NOT anyone's scope proposal(mine, company, or union), just a hypothetical question.

Gotta go, I'll be interested to see what guys think later.

That's a loss. History has shown that an overly complex scope section holds water like Swiss cheese. Keep it simple. Fancy plans like that never survive first contact with real lawyers.
